JUNE 23, IS GRADUATION/CONFIRMATION RECOGNITION SUNDAY –

OUTDOOR WORSHIP SERVICE/PICNIC– Please join us on June 30, come to church dressed casually, bring your lawn chair, and a dish to pass for the picnic after the service.  Drive your tractor to church this Sunday for a tractor parade following the service. 

 A CELEBRATION OF LIFE – Come join the Trojan family as they celebrate Gavin’s High School Graduation, Nathan’s College Graduation, Joe and Megan’s 25^th wedding anniversary, and Joe being tumor free for one year. The party will take place on Sat., June 29^th from 2 – 6 pm. at the Trojan’s home, in the backyard.

VACATION BIBLE SCHOOL – Was a great success!  We had a week of fun and learning.  Thanks to those that helped with VBS, and thanks to those that helped with the suppers.  We would also like to thank those that donated food for the suppers.

 THANK YOU –  From Jane Mitchell.  I want to thank each and everyone for the care you gave me in your prayers, visits, cards, calls and your thoughts in general.  You’ll never know how very much I have appreciated it all!

INSTALLATION OF PASTOR JAMES WRIGHT – The new Pastor for Trinity, Berrien Springs will be installed on June 30 at 3:00 p.m.  Dinner to follow at 5:00.

FUNERAL – For Erv Larson at church on Tuesday at 11:00.  Viewing from 10:00 – 11:00 before the service.

 RADIO BROADCAST – That could be heard this morning on WQYQ 1400 AM & 106.1 FM didn’t have a sponsor.  If you would like to sponsor a broadcast, please sign the sheet on the bulletin board. 

EUCHRE –  No euchre in July or August.  See you in September.

FREE FOR ALL – At Immanuel-Bridgman on June 28^th & 29^th . Doors open at 8:00 am. to 3:00 p.m.  Everything in their gym is Free.

SAVE THIS DATE:  Sept 13 & 14 2024  – In HIS Image Seminar coming this fall!

How do Christians navigate the current gender confusion and legal redefinition of marriage?  How do we as Christians speak constructively and live confidently amid all these changes?   The In HIS Image seminar  will provide you with guidance that is biblically based and Christ centered.  This seminar – to be held at Trinity, St. Joseph –  is sponsored by the 10 congregations of our circuit and presented by DOXOLOGY, a service organization of The Lutheran Church-Missouri Synod.  Watch for details in the coming weeks.  For now, save this date: Sept 13 & 14.

 2024 CHURCH CALENDAR – Please help us keep an accurate and updated church calendar.  A physical copy is posted in the Social Hall and a electronic copy can be accessed on our website.  If you have events to add please notify Kathy.

RADIO BROADCAST – New sheet for 2024 has been put on the bulletin board.  If you would  like to sponsor a broadcast, please sign the sheet on the bulletin board.

FLOWERS FOR THE ALTAR – A new calendar is on the bulletin board if you would like to donate flowers.  You can donate them in honor of someone or in memory of someone.  We would like to thank those that donated flowers in 2023.

HEARING ASSIST SYSTEM

Our local Lutheran Worship Service Broadcasts are now on WQYQ AM 1400 and 106.1 FM. (note the call sign has changed from WSJM to WQYQ but the time and frequencies remain the same for our broadcast) on Sunday mornings from 9:00 – 10:00 a.m. The service also can be heard online at https:.//www.thenewquq.com or with the Tune in app on your device. To listen with Alexa say, “Alexa, play WQYQ” The service can be heard from anywhere in the country online. There used to be three services broadcast on Sunday morning and now ours is the only one. Sometimes the service is a little late coming on so be patient, it will be coming on soon.
